The Education Foundation's mission is simple:
To enrich learning and expand educational opportunities so all Comal Independent School District students can excel.
Our mission is to support the heart of Comal ISD:
our Students.
For more than 25 years, the Comal Education Foundation has brought our community together to invest in the students and educators of Comal ISD. What began with a commitment to supporting innovative ideas in the classroom has grown into a community-wide movement creating opportunities through grants, mentorship, career experiences, partnerships, and educator support.
Since 2001, CEF has invested more than $3.2 million in educational opportunities and awarded more than 520 educator grants, reaching every Comal ISD campus.
As Comal continues to grow, so does our vision. We are building on more than two decades of impact by connecting businesses, alumni, families, educators, and community leaders to create even greater opportunities for the next generation.Our history is rooted in community. Where it all Began
It began as a grassroots, community-driven effort to support Comal ISD beyond what tax funding could provide. A small group of dedicated leaders came together with a shared belief that students and teachers deserved more than what was available. They saw possibilities where others saw limitations and chose to act.

There was no blueprint, only a vision. A vision to open doors, to fund ideas that would otherwise go unrealized, and to create opportunities that would ripple through classrooms for years to come.

What they started has grown into something far greater than they could have imagined. Today, that same spirit lives on in every grant awarded, every classroom impacted, and every student inspired.
